Description

Sewage treatment is a requisite in modern era. The Conventional sewage treatments requires special treatment plants, which requires more space, keen maintenance, and high cost. Conventionally water from sewer should be transported to treatment plant. Sewer with sewage treatment using phytoremediation is a best solution for this problem. It requires less maintenance, less space and is an environment friendly solution for sewage treatment. Phytoremediation is a bioremediation process that uses various types of plants to remove, transfer, stabilize, and/or destroy contaminants in the soil and groundwater. Plants can absorb heavy metals, reduce alkalinity and acidity of water, and remove organic contaminants in water. It is considered to be a ‘zero energy’ and eco-friendly technology that provides a sustainable solution for the conventional treatment of sewage and it is carried with in the sewer, so it reduces cost of sewage treatment and avoids the need for special treatment locations.
