Counselling

Counselling is a process that aims to facilitate personal well being of the students through support and guidance of trained counsellors, for a healthy mind and body. With the intent to address and help resolve emotional and psychological issues of the student community of STM, the college has initiated the “Counselling Cell” in the college premises with the help of a trained team of Counsellors.

The Counselling Cell encourages the students to understand themselves and the issues that trouble them and guides them to resolve their problems. These problems can be personal, emotional, social, family, peer, academic etc. This is done through individual counselling session.

Achievements

A Counselling programme for parents and students were conducted on 22 July 2019 as a part of induction programme for first years (2k19) under the guidence of Rev. Fr. Kurien George.

A faculty orientation programme was conducted on 22 July 2019.

On 03 APRIL 2019 a Counselling session for boys were conducted under the guidence of Rev. Fr. Sam Lukose Kulakkada.

Rev. Fr. Sam Lukose Kulakkada and Sr. Anaswara conducted a counselling session for individual students on 20 FEB 2019.

Rev. Fr. Sam Lukose Kulakkada and Mrs. Anu Kurian conducted a counselling session for individual students on 24 OCT 2018.

Couselling session was conducted under the guidence of Rev. Fr. Sam Lukose Kulakkada and Ms. Anaswara on 19 SEPT 2018.

Motivational session for the batch of 2018 - 2022 was conducted on 19 SEPT 2018

Rev. Fr. Sam Lukose Kulakkada and Mrs. Anu Kurian conducted a counselling session for individual students on 31st Jan 2018 and 01 FEB 2018.

A personal counseling session for both students and staff were conducted by Sr. Anaswara Grace DM and Er. Anilson Varghese on Feb 24th,2026. The sessions provided guidance and support for students’ academic and personal development, it was very helpful for the students.

A student counselling session was organized on 27/02/2025 and 28/02/2025 facilitated by Rev. Sam Lukhose. Students found the session helpful, insightful, and encouraging in addressing their academic and personal concerns.
