Description

The population of the world is continuously rising, and the lifestyle of people had changed,
this had lead an identifiable rise among vehicle manufacturers and consumers and the
parking issue had become more intense. In order to reduce the stress of parking and any
form of danger or insecurity of cars and owners, adequate parking facilities must be
provided to meet up the demand of parking.
The present project deals with the Planning, Analysis and Design of Multistoried parking at
Mattanur town of G+2 floors with terrace parking facility.
The plan for this building was prepared using AUTOCAD software and the analysis of the
building was done using ETABS. The structural elements were designed both manually
and using ETABS and performance have been compared.
The design has been done according to the Limit state method and confirming to Indian
standard code IS 456-2000.
The structural elements like slab, beam, columns, footing ramp and staircase has been
designed and detailed and it helps us to gain more kNowledge and gives an experience
for our career.
