Description

This project proposes a decentralized car-sharing system utilizing blockchain technology to address key challenges in traditional ride-sharing models, including security, transparency, and operational inefficiencies. By leveraging the Ethereum blockchain and implementing smart contracts in Solidity, the system automates core functionalities such as ride requests, vehicle pairing, payments, and trip tracking. The use of a decentralized ledger ensures that all transactions and interactions are securely recorded, transparent, and verifiable by all parties, thereby enhancing user trust and reducing the risk of fraud. This blockchain-based approach aims to offer a more reliable, efficient, and user-controlled car-sharing experience, contributing to reduced traffic congestion, environmental impact, and urban parking issues.
