Description

Structural and dynamic analysis is done on two different bus frame structures(presently used structure and composite material structure) using three materials(three types of composites) to determine the strength of the structure. Analysis is done by using Ansys software. By observing the analysis results the displacement and stress values obtained are within the limits for the modified models. It is concluded that by reducing the thickness and using composite materials yields better results than the original model and conventional steel.
