Description

The project aims in developing an efficient braking and accelerating system for a load carrying vehicle. A DC motor is used which acts as a motor as well as a generator based on the requirements of acceleration. Hence the deliverance of power from DC motor along with engine will avoid the problem of acceleration. Braking system is provided with varying speed of rear wheels while applying the brake. Thus the skidding effect of load carrying vehicles can be removed. When the vehicle moves through an ascent it experiences a strain due to its total weight. This problem can be avoided by accelerating the system in the MBAS, by giving an extra power when the vehicle experiences a strain. When the vehicle moves through a descent the accelerating system is turned on and the energy is stored in the battery. During this time the speed of the vehicle gets reduced. This energy storing process will also give a braking effect to the vehicle in its ascent motion.
