Inauguration of IGS STM Student Chapter

The Department of Civil Engineering at St. Thomas College of Engineering & Technology organized the inauguration of the IGS STM Student Chapter on February 11 at Seminar Hall 1. The event featured Dr. Vandana Sreedharan, Honorary Secretary of IGS Calicut Chapter and HoD of Civil Engineering at GCEK, as the chief guest. The program marked the beginning of student-led activities under the Indian Geotechnical Society, aiming to foster interest and innovation in the field of geotechnical engineering.
Sticks of Strength – The Ultimate Bridge Challenge

In-House NDT Workshop

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at St. Thomas College of Engineering & Technology conducted a two-day In-House NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Workshop on January 20–21 at Seminar Hall 1. The workshop was led by industry professionals Mr. Hari Krishnan M (QA/QC Engineer), Mr. Shins Joseph, and Mr. Arun M R (NDT Technicians). The program aimed to provide hands-on exposure and technical insight into NDT techniques widely used in the inspection and quality control processes in engineering. The event was organized in association with ARMS-STM, IEDC-STM, and the Sattva Civil Engineering Association.
